I'd like to thank all citizens that exercised their right to vote. It was exciting for my husband and I because this was Lil' Larry's first time voting, and he cast it for his mother!
Now it's time for all citizens, businesses, property owners, and stakeholders to come together to make Balch Springs a better place to live, work and do business. As I stated during the campaign, we must first establish order because its key to stimulate city unity and prosperity. Please join the Balch Springs City Council and myself to move this city in a direction like never seen before.There's a lot to be done so your participation on a City Board, Commission or Committee is critical. We can do this together so become a part of the solution! Watch for more details and/or a visit from me to your home or business to get you involved!

A BIG thanks to all of the volunteers for your prayers, dedication, time, and the love shown throughout the campaign. I couldn't have done it without you. I do apologize for what you encountered on election day but glad that you maintained our mission to keep it a "clean and ethical" campaign. Thanks to all for your financial and in-kind contributions to ensure that marketing materials were professional (hats off to you Lisa Kirkwood) and the great locations to hold our events (McWorther-Greenhaw Center, DMP Sports Bar, Pizza Inn, Hilltop Estates Park, and LaMe Recording Studio).
